Stagecoach Villa at Heavenly, Lake Tahoe, Nevada

The villa is a 5500 square foot home with a four car heated garage, located across the street, less than 20 feet, from the actual Stagecoach run at Heavenly, serviced by the Stagecoach Express, high speed quad lift. This lift gives our guests access to the entire mountain and since, on windy days, is not an exposed lift, it runs without interruptions.
At street level, the villa, completely remodeled in the past five years, has a four car heated garage with individual garage doors operated electronically. Each garage has electricity, storage for skis, boots and other equipment as well as room for work benches.
There is a central stairwell which leads to the first part of the home, the bedrooms located above the garage. Both these rooms are heated and both have gas log fireplaces. Both share one full bath, located on the right side as you go up the stairs. The sleeping capacity in both these rooms is 4 in the form of four twin beds. This dual apartment is perfect for a children's quarter with TV, DVD and telephone access as well as Wireless Internet Access.
The garage and garage apartments constitute a separate structure from the actual villa. At the top of the stairs in the garage structure there is a door leading to an outdoor stairwell which takes the guest to the entrance of the main house.
You enter into a vestibule clad in slate stone flooring, flanked by coat closet on the left and a stained glass door leading to the family room and bar on the right. The family room is spacious with great views of the ski lift and the Carson Valley, custom wood flooring, a very large bar crafted of the finest fir, alcoves with an indoor grill, a freezer and refrigerator and a sink. To the right of the bar, as you are looking at it, there is a utility room with a gas furnace which services the first floor of the villa. To the right of the bar as well there is a gas log wood stove which adds to the charm of the room and serves as additional heating as well.
The family room has ample seating facing a large screen TV and also contains a cabinet which serves as the host of the sound system throughout the villa. Music played on these components can be piped throughout every room in the house with individual speaker controls.
To the left of the bar in the family/entertainment room there is a bedroom suite with a queen bed, a full bath and a spa room adorned in stained glass.
From the entrance vestibule there is a stairwell which leads to the second floor of the villa. The top of the stairwell opens up into a large room with high ceilings. To the east, facing the slopes there are several cathedral windows and to the west a large dining and kitchen area. The dining room table sits at least 12 persons. The kitchen sports new appliances, coryanne counters and new cherry wood cabinets. There is a walk in pantry and a utility cabinet which houses a very large, new water heater.
Throughout this level the lighting is operated by dimmers, including the antler chandelier over the dining room table.
Off the living/dining/kitchen area there is a den/sun room which faces the ski slopes and the Carson Valley. There is a large TV and a sitting area as well as a desk and chair. This "sun room" is a perfect place to add a sleeper sofa or futon to add another sleeping area for the potential large guest party.
Off the living/dining/kitchen area there is also a corridor which leads to two bedroom suites, a full bath and a laundry closet.
The entire third level of the home consists of the master bedroom suite, complete with walk in closets, sitting areas, gas log stove, four poster bed, a small deck facing the slopes and overlooking the sun room, a custom jetted Jacuzzi tub, stone and tiled shower, and a stairwell leading to the outside via a slider which also serves as a fire escape. The master suite level is so spacious that it may afford additional sleeping areas. There is an area overlooking the living room, via beautiful custom glass windows which open like barn doors. There is a desk and chair which could be replaced by a sofa, futon or a bed, screened from the master suite by a divider.
