BEACH BUNGALOW, an older NeahKahNie beach cottage, is situated on a large sloping lot across the street from the Pacific Ocean in a neighborhood of classic Oregon Coast beach cottages. Enjoy your meals and play games with the family in front of big view windows. To get to the beach, cross the street to the hidden, magical footpath beneath a tree canopy. Manzanita Beach, 7 miles of hard-packed sand, beckons the beachcomber in you. Walk to the quaint village main street of Manzanita for a latte or to pick up a newspaper and a fresh loaf of bread at the bakery. Children will play tag or toss a frisbee on the large open lawn. You can read your favorite book or gaze at the ocean from a lawn chair. Later cozy up to the woodstove in the very comfortable, large, wood-paneled, vaulted ceiling living room.
