Eagels,Ospreys,Parrots,Wood peckers amongst others populate the skys and trees.Grouper,mullet,snook,red fish and snapper can be caught from the dock .If your tickle is Tarpon then check out Boca raton just north of sanibel and captiva islands.People come from all over the world for the Tarpon fishing.Use your own boat or rent from one of the many suppliers in the area.There are also trips up and down the river on an old style paddle boat and a fast catamaran that will take you to Key west for the day . There are manaatees in the river along with countless fish and dolphines.
