Description:
Huron Hide-Away is a recently restored cedar log cabin, built in 1921, on a wooded acre with 102 feet of lake frontage. Watching the sunrise can be very exciting from this "mini-peninsula"...but watching the moon rise is mystical. Whether you enjoy the calm rainbow colors of the waters that change constantly on a placid day, or prefer the crash of 3 to 4 foot waves on the rocks in anticipation of a storm, this 180 degree view of majestic Lake Huron is mesmerizing. There is plenty of room for volleyball, badmitten, or just a nap in the hammock, listening to the sounds of nature. In autumn, the colors are great, the air's crisp, and a roaring fire in the outdoor firepit or the beaufitul living rooom stone fireplace can't be beat. The 1,400 sq. ft. cabin is cool in the summer and warm and cozy in the winter...just a little piece of heaven! Seperate Guest house is for homeowners use.
