This cozy cottage is conveniently located on the main route going to Lake Placid. The knotty pine living room has a queen-size futon, cable, color TV, stereo, telephone and dining table for 4. The kitchen is very well equipped to prepare full meals, with a 4 burner stove top, family size toaster oven, microwave, toaster, pots, pans, plates, glasses, etc. The bedroom has a queen size bed and plenty of closet and drawer space for personal belongings. All sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels are included. The bathroom has a shower unit, toilet and sink. The front screened in porch is enjoyable to sit out on in the warmer weather, or just to put your winter outdoor equipment in. The cottage is within walking distance to a convenience store, pizza shop, taxidermy store, and 2 restaurants. A nearby drive brings you to area restaurants, grocery shopping, mountaineering store, wine and liquor store, boutique shop, diner, and more. And, your pet is welcome!
Take the Adirondack Northway to Exit 30. At stop sign, turn left and continue over the mountains and through the woods for 15.4 miles. Once you pass the Stewarts Convenience Store, the cottage is just 2 houses more, and on same left side. Cottage #10867 is posted.
Rates
The rate for one or two nights is at $95 per night. A discount is given for three, four and five nights, not to exceed $450 for the week.
