'Sconset 1920's cozy craftsman cottage that provides the 'Sconset village experience and is within hearing distance of the waves, and in range of the Sankaty lighthouse light. Setback on a private and large yard off a private road. The home is decorated with abundant antiques and art, and equipped with modern conveniences. It has an open ceiling, brittainy syle with 4 bedrooms, den, dining nook, kitchen, pantry, deck, full bathroom and outdoor hot shower. There is a garage with a laundry room. Special lower rates for Fall! $1,500/week ($3,500/month).
Unlimited domestic calling, 160 TV cable stations, high-speed internet with wireless is available. There is a CD player and DVD players as well as stereo. There are many interesting books, videos, records, CDs and games
Tuckaway is 2 blocks from the village beaches and village center. The village remains unspoiled as a quaint getaway, historical (homes back to 1620) and a retreat for actors, writers and artists. In the center there is a small grocery, cafe, liquor store and post office as well as two 4-star restaurants. Center of activity are the beaches, the 'Sconset Casino, a tennis club. community movie house and center, and a historical non-denominational community chapel.
Many well-known families have summered here for generations.

Tuckaway is located at 27 West Sankaty Rd on a private road just off of West Sankaty Rd in Siasconset ('Sconset) Massachussets, at the eastern most end of the island of Nantucket (an island 30 miles ESE of Cape Cod. Other than one town in Maine it is the eastern most village in the US. Once the whaling capital of the world, its charm and architecture has been preserved: Original captains homes, whaler homes, the cobble main street and business buldings.
Many sites to see and things to do: Whaling Museum, Cisco Brewery, Beaches, Harbor and Bay sailing, surf casting for stripers, bluefish, Spanish Mackeral, Bonnita, False Albecore from shore and boat.
