When he's not vacationing with his family in exotic destinations such as Hong Kong and Kauai, Felix travels the globe making sure his companies are successful. Most recently, he was founder and CEO of anti-spam leader Qurb, Inc., acquired by CA in June 2005. Before that, he founded and served as chairman at AvantGo, Inc., the world's largest mobile Internet service, where he was instrumental in forming strategic relationships with leading travel companies including American Express, United Airlines, Northwest Airlines, American Airlines and others. AvantGo was acquired by Sybase, Inc. in March 2002. Felix earned his software wings at NeXT, Computer, Oracle and IBM. He holds two electrical engineering degrees from MIT.
A consummate traveler, Keith books his own S.F.-based home to other travelers interested in experiencing city life up close and personal. Between trips, Keith founded and served as director of engineering at iAmaze, Inc., a DHTML and XML software company acquired by AOL/Time Warner in August 2000. Before that, he was part of the entrepreneurial software teams at Sun Microsystem's subsidiaries SunSoft and Lighthouse Design, delivering object modeling technologies. He began his career in the Advanced Technology Group at IBM where he first met and worked with Dave. He then worked with both Dave and Felix at NeXT. Keith earned his MBA and Master of Science degrees from Syracuse University, and his BA from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Even though he enjoys building great products, getting away has always been important to Dave and his family. His successes have included heading up engineering at anti-spam leader Qurb, Inc., acquired by CA, and serving as vice president of product development at AvantGo, where he was instrumental in building the service to support more than eight million registered users. AvantGo was acquired by Sybase. Dave's early software career includes NeXT, Netscape and IBM. He holds a BS in Computer Science from Syracuse University.
